During the COVID 19 Pandemic situation, we are not able to meet together in person at this time.

We are still serving our teens by meeting each Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. on Zoom and connecting on Instagram. impactyouthministry123 is our Instagram handle.

Minister Alex and Julie Oliver also delivered care packages to each teen. Parents with teenagers are also receiving weekly emails from Minister Alex with resources and encouragement.

Below is information on how our Youth Ministry functions when we are able to safely meet in person again. If you have any questions please email info@newvisionchurch.com

At New Vision Church we firmly believe that our youth are the church of today, not just the church of tomorrow. Our youth group is focused on developing our teens into men and women of God. Our youth group is called Impact Youth Ministries.

Impact meets Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Church

We hang out and get to know each other better.
We eat snacks.
We listen to modern Christian music together and talk about how the music moves us.
We explore the bible and discuss it’s meaning in our lives together.
We play really fun games together, many of which are active games.
We pray for one another sharing our hurts, fears, joys, anxieties, and gratitude.

At Impact we see the value of learning by doing. We put into action the teaching of Jesus by serving our community. We serve our community by collecting resources, raking leaves, cleaning houses, visiting the lonely, serving dinner at homeless shelter, and much more. These service days are usually once a month giving every teen has opportunities to serve.

Along with our weekly meeting and once a month service day we also have a monthly fellowship event like a movie night, paint ball, laser tag, game night, Christian concert, or lock-in. You never know what we’ll come up with next.

Impact works to fulfill New Vision Church’s Mission statement by focusing on;
Discovering God’s forgiveness and love.
Developing into Christlike disciples.
Demonstrating God’s love to others.

Or as we call them 3D:

  • Discover
  • Develop
  • Demonstrate
