Ministry in the Community
Most of our outreach happens within the city of Raymore. We reach out to our neighborhood by offering family movie nights and other events throughout the year designed to help families have fun together. We invite our neighbors and the entire city to join us for Vacation Bible School, our Back to School Bash, and other events. Many families who do not attend New Vision have also improved their personal finances through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.
Ministry in the KC Metro Area
New Vision Church is a member of the Kansas City District Church of the Nazarene. Comprised of 83 churches, the district stretches from Topeka to Sedalia, and from Drexel to the Iowa state border. We cooperate with these churches to start new churches in urban areas, suburbs, and rural areas. The district oversees the ministries of the Kansas City Rescue Mission and other ministries of compassion and justice in the KC metro area. Our members regularly serve the poor and oppressed by participating in these ministries as well as others that serve the city.
Ministry Around the World
As a member of the international Church of the Nazarene, New Vision Church is part of the one of the best missionary organizations in the world. We regularly give a portion of our offerings to support the efforts of Nazarene missionaries around the world. We pray for our missionaries, give of our funds, and even go to do God’s work around the world.
